How many pallets fit in a 20 ft reefer container?

Using LoadComposer's current 20' Reefer reference, the planner finds 10 Euro pallet floor positions, 9 industrial pallet positions, or 9 North American pallet positions with rotation allowed, zero modeled clearance, and no stacking.

This result uses LoadComposer's nominal refrigerated-container data. It does not imply that every 20-foot reefer has identical usable dimensions. Insulation, refrigeration equipment, floor profile, manufacturer, series, condition, and required airflow can all change the real loading envelope.

20' Dry versus the current 20' Reefer reference

LoadComposer referenceInternal L × W × HDoor W × HEuro / Industrial / North American
20' Dry5,896 × 2,350 × 2,393 mm2,340 × 2,280 mm11 / 10 / 10
20' Reefer5,456 × 2,294 × 2,273 mm2,290 × 2,264 mm10 / 9 / 9

The current reefer reference is shorter and narrower internally than 20' Dry. The observed series range recorded in LoadComposer is approximately 5,451–5,456 mm long, 2,290–2,294 mm wide, and 2,167–2,273 mm high. The planner calculates with the displayed reference values; the actual unit still needs to be checked.

The image is the actual planner result for 10 Euro pallets at 1,500 mm loaded height. It is not a Dry-container image relabeled as reefer equipment. Confirm the real container, rear access, airflow and operational spacing, securing, weight, and floor-loading requirements before loading.
