# Commercial licensing

LoadComposer is available under `LCCL-1.0` for the free uses described in [LICENSE](LICENSE), including normal internal use by for-profit organizations. A separate commercial license is required when the software itself, access to it, or a substantial implementation of it is monetized.

Typical cases requiring a commercial agreement include:

- paid hosted access, SaaS, APIs, managed instances, or subscription features;
- white-label, OEM, private-label, or customer-branded editions;
- substantial embedding in a paid product, platform, appliance, or service;
- resale, sublicensing, marketplace distribution, or fees tied to access or use;
- advertising-, sponsor-, affiliate-, lead-, donation-, or data-funded public hosting; and
- services whose principal value is implementing, operating, or commercializing LoadComposer for third parties.

Typical cases that do not require a commercial agreement include:

- internal planning by a company, consultant, carrier, warehouse, manufacturer, or public body;
- using LoadComposer output in paid logistics or transport work;
- selling or transporting goods planned with LoadComposer; and
- free, non-monetized redistribution or public hosting that complies with `LCCL-1.0`.
